Molecular Filters Activated Carbon Air Filter
Molecules are typicallly 1,000 to 10,000 times smaller than the most penetrating particles that pass througth HEPA and ULPA filters . All XN-AB molecular filters utilise a technique known as adsorption. In simple terms this means sticking the molecules onto materials with extremely high surface areas. Nearly all XN-AB molecular filters use activated carbon or activated alumina as the active ingredient. Molecular filters are also sometimes known as chemical filters or gas phase filters.
XN-AB is perfect for indoor air quality(IAQ) applications where you need to efficiently control both particulate matter(PM) and molecular contamination using a singlle filter.
The XN- AB filter utilizer a broad spectrum activated carbon layer to ensure removal of an enoumous range of airborne chemiclas. The broad spectrum carbon operates with a rapic adsorption dynamics (RAD)mechanism that ensures high efficiency against the multiple chemicals typically present in city-centre biudings, XN-AB provides particle filtration in classes ePM 160% or ePM190% according to ISO 16890. A high media area ensures high efficiency, long life and low pressure drop.
